When you think of the term holistic, you may initially think of holistic medicine, however the term holistic may be applied to your health, well-being, home, etc. Holistic health refers to nurturing all parts not just the "whole." This means that as human beings and our places of "home" is more than just the entirety of it. A home is more than just the structure or beams that hold it together. It's the emotions, the memories, the places of solitude, the feelings of security, spaces to allow for your creativity, and sense of comfort. Your body is more than just a body; its place for inner peace, joy, wisdom, energy, soulfulness, house of prayer, mindfulness, and patience. Everything is interconnected and every part is just as important as the next.

Little Fern Market began in the summer of 2020 originally thought to be a hobby business for my crafting and creativity. However, as some may know, I am also a full-time registered nurse. I began finding this curiosity in holistic health and how I can nurture those parts of my self through meditation, yoga, prayer, creativity, aromatherapy, nutrition, herbalism, and journaling. As my passions in holism began to grow, I started focusing on one thing at a time that I could replace in my home or environment with a more natural alternative.

Transitioning into a holistic healthy home and lifestyle is a slow, yet unrelentingly rewarding journey. Little Fern Market began that transition with me and is now one of my greatest passions. My hope is that Little Fern Market can be a place for inspiration. A place, where you can too, start small.
